Dr. Koballa is the absolute best! She and her team took such good care of the boys and welcomed them with open arms and cheese. Every visit feels extremely personal with lots of love and puppy kisses.

We moved to Charlotte and quickly after needed eye surgery for one of our guys. I have never had a pet that needed a procedure like that done, but I felt completely at ease knowing Dr. Koballa was the person in charge.

Our fur family loves Charlotte Companion Animal Hospital, and so do we!

Dr. Erin Koballa has been an amazing vet to my senior cat, Maya. Maya is in renal failure and recently had a very horrific indoor injury. Dr. Koballa has treated her with pain management and anit-inflammatory medication, while being so conscious of her renal condition. Prices are extremely affordable and Dr. Koballa is compassionate and caring for every animal in her care.

Update: Saddest day as we needed to put Maya to rest yesterday. Dr. Koballa explained the process, gave us all the time we needed with our girl and she crossed over so peacefully. Losing a pet is such an emotional experience and the entire staff was kind, didn’t rush, and made the event as smooth as it possibly could be. As we left “please get home safely” was just the kindest reminder to go slow as you’re in a fogged over state. 5 stars to this team.

Will be back with our next fur baby.

Dr. Koballa and her staff are amazing!! My dog gets shy and nervous around new places and people, but she knew exactly what to do to make his experience fun and exciting. You will see that she truly loves what she does and will take care of all your fur babies. Thank you Dr. Koballa !!!

Dr. Koballa is awesome! She always takes the time to talk about any concerns and give options for treatment without over treating. All the techs and front desk are awesome too, so friendly and caring. I’m so glad we found such a great vet!

I had an emergency with my dog Lulu and was so uncertain on where to go. I am so ever grateful to had been referred to Charlotte Companion by my vet in Indian Land. This place saved my baby Lulu life. They all were so caring from the start. Dr. Erin Koballa should get a reward for her excellent service and caring heart. She eased my nervousness with a caring conversation as she loved on LuLu. I never had a scare before so I did not know what to expect. Dr. Erin and her staff was amazingly kind and explained so lovingly everything. They kept me posted every step of the way. They even sent pictures of her post op as well. They even checked on her throughout the weekend. I cried and thank God for all of the staff here because I never experienced such great treatment in an emergency situation as such. Thank you all for caring.

Charlotte Companion Animal Hospital was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad! Dr. Koballa is absolutely incredible and everything you could ask for in a vet. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. My pup Molly is normally very anxious and dreads the vet but Dr. Koballa and her team treated my girl with so much love and patience which made her much more comfortable and relaxed. They treated her as if she was one of their own with lots of attention and cuddles too - and that meant so much to me! The facility is beautiful, clean and welcoming. The whole staff made us feel like family and took great care of Molly.

Thankfully, Dr. Koballa made a diagnosis of a CCL tear and got x-rays done for her quickly and recommended us to a great surgeon. Molly is healing from her surgery and can’t wait to go back and visit Dr. Koballa and her team!

If you are looking for a vet for your fur baby, look no further! I 10/10 highly recommend Charlotte Companion Animal Hospital to any pet parents 🙂

Thank you so much Dr. Koballa and staff for fitting my cat, Winston, in today. He fell off something this morning but his regular vet was not open today. His previous vet office wouldn't work him in and I called several other offices. Everyone told me to go to ER because they couldn't get him in till Monday.... except Charlotte Companion Animal Hospital. They got Winston in so quickly today. Dr. Koballa and her staff were amazing. Dr. Koballa got on the floor with Winston and was loving all over him. He is a scaredy cat but she was so sweet with him. I'm so appreciative of this clinic for getting him in and being so honest with recommendations, rather than just charging me to do a ton of unnecessary testing on him. I highly recommend Charlotte Companion Animal Hospital.
