I cannot say how grateful I am to have found Dr. Boyd’s!! I started bringing my puppy Teddy at 6 months old and it has done nothing but improve his dog social skills and gain independence! Tim was the first person who checked Teddy into daycare and since then he has been nothing short of caring and polite, and Teddy can’t help but sprint to him every time we come in. Duwain has also shown Teddy so much love. I appreciate Dr. Wesson and his seamless easy neutering. The staff is wonderful and I am lucky to have them! Thank you Dr. Boyd’s.

A home away from home. We had never boarded our cats and we had to, our pet sitter recommended this place and we are very pleased.
It’s not cheap, but they were very well cared for and received plenty of attention. When they came home they were totally fine, we got worried they would be out of it for a while but it must’ve not been too bad for them.
If we ever have to board we’d come back again!

Dr. Wesson cared for our dog through our little guy's terminal lung cancer diagnosis and end of life care over the last year. He was compassionate, thorough, took the time to help us understand and returned our call on his day off when it was clear that it was time to say goodbye to our beloved dog. He even recommended other vets in the area that could help with this, because none of us wanted to see him suffer further overnight until Dr. Boyd would return to his practice.
Top notch, compassionate care from the Doc, his vet techs and his front desk team who were very kind and caring also in taking on board all my concerns and questions on Labor Day.
Dr. Wesson was recommended to me by a friend whose dog he had treated. In turn, to pay it forward, I am also recommending his practice to anyone looking for a new vet in the North Bethesda/Rockville area.

I have an anxious/reactive Rottweiler that I take to Dr. Boyd’s, the team there treats him better than any other clinic we’ve taken him to (not trying to bash names because everyone does the best they can when it comes to a reactive big pup) and they blow my mind with each visit with the amount of professionalism they have. They’re always very understanding and accommodating and we’re in and out very quick so my pup can have the easiest experience there.
They have such a warm atmosphere when you walk into the building and everyone is always super nice!
My pup is being re-homed out of state, but if/when we decide to care for another pet we will certainly come back to Dr. Boyds for the best care possible.

My 10year old border collie and I first found Dr. Boyd's b/c my pup.was having anxiety and/or getting into dust ups at other daycare locations in the area. The Dr Boyd's daycare is a wonderful place for the pup. Then I decided to make Dr Boyd's our pcp and that's been a wonderful switch too. The clinical staff are professional, they listen and engage in conversation we with you about a care plan. Everyone in I've met in past year had been engaged, and dogcare first. As economy continues open up, I've used boarding for about 10 days since February. My dog comes home happy, tired and calm. I'm very happy as a customer.

January 2025 Update: dog is now 13 and Dr Boyd's has been his primary care provider. Staff are talented, professional and involved in his medical care and daycare. I have a healthy, content dog. I am a happy customer.

Simply amazing! If you are looking for a place to bring your beloved and cherished fur babies, look no further. Dr. Boyd’s is phenomenal. Dr. Boyd is amazing, brilliant, and an incredible human who loves what he does. We have taken our beloved pets in when they were not well, over holidays and on a moments notice. Always seen with great care and thoughtfulness.

Today was my first time using the vet service for my German shepherd and miniature poodle. I really fell in love with the atmosphere when I first walked in. I loved the design and layout of the lobby, I loved how friendly EVERYONE was. I felt that it was a really nice experience for my dogs and especially my German shepherd. They weren’t afraid of him and they treated him like he was a baby which was a really nice change from other vets we’ve seen. I also was a fan of them not pushing unnecessary products on my dogs. I can finally say that I’ve found out fur-ever vet.
