Dr Watson was amazing and so empathetic towards our little guy who i brought in for what turned out to be a severe case of tracheal collapse. She provided me with all the information I needed to make an informative decision on his treatment going forward. Her follow-up was so appreciated, with more important information for his care and patience as she answered all my questions and gave me more sound advice moving forward. I appreciate her and hayfield for getting us in for same day care.

I can’t say enough about the care my sweet 10-year-old dog received today at Hayfield Animal Hospital. He had been exhibiting signs of jaw pain recently and had been examined by a specialist he sees monthly and then by his regular vet soon after. Neither could find any obvious problems. On Tuesday of this week, he suddenly began salivating profusely and I strongly suspected a dental issue. My regular vet clinic (where I have been going for 22 years) couldn’t fit us in for a dental cleaning anytime soon, so I immediately began searching for a clinic that could do an emergency cleaning. Some had no openings while others said they had no staff for that procedure. I struck out at nine places before broadening my geographic search and thankfully discovering Hayfield. Dr. Watson examined my dog and did bloodwork the next day (Wednesday), and I took him back today (Thursday) for the cleaning. His bloodwork results were ready for me to review when I arrived early this morning.
Dr. Watson is knowledgeable, skilled, patient, compassionate and communicative – all the things you want in a veterinarian – and even though we had just met, I felt as though my dog was in very good hands. She called me during the procedure to let me know that everything was going well and to ask a question and then called back shortly thereafter to let me know that he was coming out of anesthesia and give me a pick-up time. The staff were all kind, helpful and compassionate, too. I am so grateful and relieved to have found Hayfield – especially during what I thought was an emergency. From beginning to end, my experience was wonderful, and I will happily recommend Hayfield – and Dr. Watson – to anyone looking for an excellent vet and clinic.

We took our pet there to get established as a new patient. We are first time pet owners so we are new to this and wow, can people have this sort of care? They were incredibly compassionate and gave our dog super great care and were able to get her to calm down instantly.

Our experience was great! The waiting room was warm and cheery; the assistant was welcoming and encouraging; the doctor was kind, and check-out was easy. One of the reasons we will stay is the ability to take care of Buddy's teeth through a payment plan. When our puppy was neutered, the sutures were done so perfectly that we could barely tell. He hasn't seemed agitated or tempted to lick at them, a testament to their excellent work. Despite his separation anxiety, our puppy happily greets the vets and goes with them without any problems.

If i could change just one thing. I wish that they still saw exotic animal patients so that I could also take my ferrets there as well.

We took our 11 month Pomsky to Hayfield Animal Hospital to be neutered. We were able to get a first visit appointment right away and had the procedure the day after that. The staff and doctors are great. Very friendly and pet loving. They are great and we have found our local vet for good.
