Fantastic oncology and emergency hospital care. Our Labrador Suzy Q received excellent treatment from the oncology unit as well as emergency hospitalization on two occasions at the beginning of her treatment. Dr Joachim Henriques and Dr. José Martins (in photo with Suzy) and the entire oncology team gave Suzy state-of-the-art care, always with humor and endless compassion and treats that made her love them and think her visits were play dates and not chemo treatments. The doctors were always supportive but always clear on the setting expectations, offering hope but never over promising. They communicated well with our local vets in Setúbal and with the attached Hospital Atlântico when necessary. We highly recommend this oncology team and hospital, even if you have to drive extra to get there. Access is very easy from the freeway.

Top place for the dogs and cats in Mafra. Here is 24/7 emergency vet services available. Hope you never need it but it is good to have it.

These people have just carried out the worst hair cut I have ever seen on my dog - I could have done a better job myself, and saved 50,00€. I asked for a short hair cut. They completely disregarded my request, and without asking shaved my dog. They have left bald patches and bleeding cuts that they haven't even bothered to treat. I will never, ever go back here, and I would advise everybody to think twice before using their dog grooming services.

We were at the clinic a week ago. The doctor was very attentive, listened and prescribed medicines. I’ll say right away that the clinic is not cheap, the appointment costs a little more than in another clinic in the same city, but it’s worth it

We found a wandering dog on Christmas evening and remembered that if he had an identity chip he could be safely returned. The busy staff at the hospital did not turn us away but let us in with the stray dog. The very friendly young attendant scanned the lost dog and the owner was contacted who showed up shortly. What a beautiful Christmas tale. I will always have good things to say about this hospital and it's staff.

Good care, knowledgeable staff and honestly so glad to have had it as an option on a Sunday evening. A bit overpriced which is why I took a star off but besides that, great care for my furry family 🙂
