Our 11 month puppy was referred to this 'Specialist Surgery' for a very serious condition, he charged over 2K for tests, blood transfusion and a further €250 for medication. He requested payment before speaking to us about a diagnosis which we felt was odd and when we spoke to him he gave the diagnosis & advised us to go back to the initial vet once meds finished. 3 weeks later the initial vet had no idea why we were being sent back to him as this was a specialist case.
We tried to get in touch with Billy McCarthy who refused to speak with us over the phone, hadn't sent over the puppy's details or was anyway helpful in further care, the back & forth continued and with that the puppy's blood transfusion was a waste.
The initial vet redid the blood tests & facilitated a new transfusion once he noticed the errors in tests that the specialist didn't, (we had to source the blood)
But unfortunately due to Billy McCarthys negligence our 11 month puppy's time was wasted, he was declining fast developing neurological issues and so our stressed out, emotional family made the decision to put our sweet baby to rest.

Steer absolutely clear of this 'Specialist'
Who cannot take accountability, lies about trying to call you back and hides behind an email account.

I am so happy with Billy and his team. They did a MRI scan for my dog Minnnie which was half the price I was quoted in other clinics. We got the diagnosis and with treatment she is back to normal. A life saver service

A big shoutout to the entire team at NOAH for making our visit a pleasant one. Our dog Benny has had persistent joint issues and we've seen marked improvement since we started visiting this hospital. The staff here are not only proficient at what they do but are also incredibly friendly and understanding. They provide an environment where both pets and pet owners feel comfortable.

do not book appointment on line or pay any money, We paid a small deposit for an appointment that we made on Line and attended the surgery in Derry and there was no-one there. Tried to phone numbers including emergency numbers and no one ever got back to us. Be very careful - you are worried about your pet do not use these guys not sure if they are still operating but will take the money,

Unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience at Noah. I came in for a second opinion on my cat's tumor. The vet examining her was indelicate and arrogant. I was hesitating to post a negative review, because it might have been just my subjective perception. But the vet said multiple times that the tumor is benign and there's no need for X-rays and additional tests. I did the surgery and tests somewhere else and it turned out that the tumor was malignant. So it was really irresponsible to assume that it's not that big of a problem. I'm really glad I didn't rely on what I've been told and got a third opinion somewhere else.
