Absolute worst experience I have ever had at a vet's office. Although some of the staff were friendly and handled my cat well, the Dr. was a disaster. He did not listen to me at all. My cat was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 4 years ago, and I've been giving him twice daily insulin shots since then. All of his records were forwarded from his previous vet. I took him there specifically to get an exam, full blood panel, and a glucose test, all needed to renew his insulin approval. I specifically requested the glucose test, discussed it at length, and the initial report I received included it (it was about 345). I even spoke again with the vet after I saw the result. Alas, due to stressful transportation issues on the way home, the paperwork got lost. I called 3 times to ask them to E-mail them to me. They claimed they did, but I never received them. Today, I had to take Lyft ride back there to get them in person. I immediately noticed that the blood glucose result was missing from the new copy. When I asked about it, the very rude receptionist claimed that I had declined the glucose test. That's the main thing I was there for! And what she was saying was dead wrong.

There's more. The vet spent a lot of time "educating' me on how to give my cat the insulin, knowing full well that I already had 4 years of experience doing it.

Given the discrepancies in the records and the blatant lies that were told, I would never take an pet there again.

Also, in spite of being told that my cat's physical exam all looked good, and all the blood results were normal, he died one month later, just a few days ago.

Yeah, and there's even more but I am exhausted and grieving.

Just wanna say thank you to the staff , they all was friendly and nice to me and my dog . I took my dog pepper here after days off feeling sick and she’s doing so much better thanks to you all !! Thank you again for caring for pepper and making her feel better . We appreciate you all

My sister took her senior cat to Dr.Narute and initially got him back on track with his health, based on her recommendation I brought my senior pup their also. However, we both noticed the level of care went downhill from when we initially took our Senior animals there. We believe that the last visit that Dr.narute saw her cat expedited his death and the next morning she had to rush her cat to the emergency ER in bowie MD and they said the enema that Vet gave her might have triggered his death based on how it was inserted the day before since he was a senior and the cat had to be put down since he was Senior. Dr.narute's team acted in a way that implied they made a mistake but wouldn't directly say. Be warned with taking your senior pet to this vet.

I recently had an amazing experience at Broadbands Animal Hospital - PetSmart Veterinary Serices in Oxon Hill, Md. My 13 year old dog suffered a severe ligament tear, which left her unable to walk and we were heartbroken at the thought of potentially having to put her down. After visiting Broadlands, our perspective completely changed. The doctors and staff at Broadlands took exceptional care of her from the very first visit. They provided clear guidance, showed genuine concern and developed a treatment plan tailored to her specific needs. She was given a series of monthly shots of Librela and the transformation was remarkable. Within a short time, she went from barely being able to move to now running around like she's a young dog again. It feels like we got our beloved pet back, full of energy and life, and it's all thanks to the expertise and compassionate care provided by the team at Broadlands. I can't thank them enough for giving us hope when we thought there was none. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking top-notch care for their pets!

Oxon Hill Petsmart New Veterary Clinic is first rate. Give it a try and you will love it. Dr. Purushottam very professional, kind, suggests a treatment that is necessary and not everything that is medically possible. My young Pomeranian received a bandage/splint for a broken leg. Both dog and pet parent were treated with much care and compassion, patience and thorough explanation of treatment. Thank you to the entire team - you made a difficult situation much easier. I trust Dr. P & team 100% - they will check in on us free of charge before the booked next appointment.

Overall amazing service. The staff was so nice and helpful. The office was clean and comfortable. I brought my 12 yr old boxer in for arthtirits problems and his annual check up and I couldn't be more pleased.

The vet and tech Char took great care of my fur baby! I went to the office in with an emergency visit and the cared for my baby with professionalism and patience. They explained to me the issue and provided medication. The vet ensured that I understood and setup a follow up appointment to ensure my doggie’s issue was resolved. Only recommendation is they have a payment plan or financing option.
