Springfield is amazing & they LOVE the pets, even put up pictures! We switched here from an Alexandria vet that could never get us in for a sick dog! Springfield vets listen to us about our dogs, unlike others. We drive 20 minutes out & it is well worth it.

We spent years trying to figure out our dog's allergies, doing food trials, managing environment and symptoms... At our first appointment with Springfield, we asked about blood testing and we started immune therapy drops within 2 months, it's been SO much better.

A few months ago, our dog's appetite changed drastically. Nothing was showing wrong on blood tests or anything, but Dr. Olfield noticed one slightly elevated enzyme and did a quick ultrasound wand that found his kidney cancer. Ultimately chemo failed, but we got a few more months with our boy because of their diligence. ❤️

My dog always receives great care at Springfield, which is why I drive the hour from my home in DC to VA. He likes coming to the vet; when he realizes where we are when we pull into the parking lot, his tail starts wagging, and he runs to the hospital's front door. He knows he will see people who treat him kindly and make him feel better if he is sick.

Great staff and service. Been taking dogs and cats here for years and they have always been super responsive and sympathetic to the animals issues. One of our dogs even loves visiting.

Been going here now for a few years, they’re always positive, helpful, and thorough. They are like family, greeting you on arrival. They love pets. Their love shows with how they engage your pet. We’ve gone through many services: dentals, teeth extractions, skin cancer, exams, acupuncture, nerves/pain. They’ve referred us to specialists when needed.

Recent software updates has been helpful, whether forms for grooming, visits, confirming appointments, and more.

Good vet service. Just confirm what you are going into office for before the vet touches your animal. Twice now we've gone in to get shots in preparation for grooming and they initiated a well check which ran the bill up. It may look like a part of the visit, but you'll surely pay for it. Other than that, good, speedy service.

I’ve been going here since I first got my pup.

I no longer live in the area, but continue to go here because of the care he gets every time. They are efficient, organized and very intentional with their treatments!

They are also great with following up post treatment to check on the fur babies and see how they are doing.

They also offer boarding which is just as great as the maintenance care. I started to name staff members individually, but I honestly have had great experiences with everyone!
