I have been using The Dapper dog for about four years. My first interaction was a last minute accident we had with our puppy who got stuck in a swamp. She was covered everywhere and I mean everywhere with swamp. Her eyes were the only thing clean. After calling many groomers who all turned me down for not being a client… I called The Dapper Dog. Kathleen heard the desperation in my voice and said bring that baby girl right over and I will do what I can to help with the situation. I showed up with Piper and all the swamp included and a few hours later Piper was squeaky clean and the happiest puppy. The work that Kathleen did to make her clean everywhere and smell better was priceless. We have been going every 4/6 weeks since. Piper has also boarded there and she was not scared or lonely. The care given to the boarders is amazing and well worth knowing your baby is safe. Piper hears me on the phone with Kathleen and gets excited. We pull in her driveway and Piper can not contain her happiness. Well today we brought along her scaredy cat brother. He has been to visit a couple times. But today he got a bath!!!! He was not happy as he hates baths by anyone. However, he is wearing his bandana and showing everyone who will look!!! So that is a win!!! I love that the staff has the patience and loving compassion for all of the animals they care for. I would recommend them to anyone!!!!

Chantal has been such a blessing to me and my fur-baby, Ruko. He is a 65 lbs Pit Bull who has consistently made it impossible to endure a nail trim. And when I say impossible, I truly mean it. At one point, I had a veterinarian tell me that he would ONLY trim Ruko’s nails with anesthesia on board. A service that cost an additional $400!

Chantal’s patience and gentle nature completely transformed our experience with grooming. She goes above and beyond to help both owners and their beloved pets. She is warm, efficient, and thorough in her approach.

Through our experience with Chantal, Ruko no longer fears nail trimmers or grinders. She is a miracle worker. I would highly recommend her services to anyone who is looking for a groomer who offers superior client care and attention to detail!

this is the only place i bring my animals or refer anyone to! chantal is amazing with the animals she’s always making sure they’re comfortable and happy during their stay which is most important. the owners are great people - great location - great prices! anyone who has an issue with this place must just be mad at themselves for messing up with the best grooming place around! thanks a ton to the dapper dog!

I have been a client of Dapper Dog for almost twenty years. During that time I have had three precious puppies (who are like my babies!) that have been groomed there as well as have been boarded there. The care that each of my little ones has received has been extremely loving & highly professional. It is a sign of Dapper Dog’s TLC that my Nicholas, Simon & currently Vincent all respond to Chantal, DD’s head groomer, with kisses upon arriving for their grooming session & upon leaving afterwards. And I must add, that Nicholas, Simon & Vincent have always looked sensational after Chantal has groomed them! I have recommended Dapper Dog to friends throughout the years & everyone’s experience has always paralleled my own. They have always been extremely pleased. I feel lucky to have found such a wonderful place & would recommend Dapper Dog to anyone looking for a groomer who will love your ‘baby’ like you do…They are great!

Had a wonderful experience getting my pup Monty groomed here! He is a 2.5 year old corgi who can be a bit of a diva when it comes to getting his nails cut. I have had poor grooming experiences previously at other places where he’s come back looking exactly the same as before. The dapper dog was one of the best grooms he’s had - they clearly know what they’re doing and it’s obvious they love the pups! Prices were affordable & the job they do is awesome. Would definitely recommend going there.

I brought in my two dogs today. Our French bulldog came in for a deshedding bath and nails/ears. We told the groomer that we wanted our cocker spaniel shaved. The cocker spaniel shave is very uneven and longer than I requested. It does not look like he had a professional haircut. I also don’t think he was brushed properly after he was groomed, as he is leaving clumps of fur around the house. I sent pictures of his hair cut to the groomer and she said that she doesn’t see any uneven spots…See for yourself and beware. We will not be returning.

Side note : We were told the dogs would be ready by 3:00 . I asked if it would be ok to pick them up at 5:00. I understand that there can be a fee associated with that but to want to charge the customer an additional $58.00 PER DOG for 2 hours is extreme.

Horrible experience with this facility, made two separate appointments and neither of which worked out. Rude incompetent staff. If i could leave -5 stars i would! Highly recommend finding a different facility to get your dog’s groomed!

We love the team at the Dapper Dog! They are friendly, responsive and treat our dog like he is one of their own. We have used them for boarding services for years and, from the start, have made us feel completely at ease with our sometimes skittish 3 year old pup. While he’s there, they send daily photos of him romping in the yard. He is clearly at ease and having fun. Knowing this allows us to relax and enjoy our time away. Thank you Kathleen and team for providing kind and caring services. I absolutely recommend (and have done so to family and friends) The Dapper Dog!
