We needed pet passports/vaccinations to take our cats overseas. We called so many vets but VCA was able to fit us in and get our USDA health certificates on time. The doctor was amazing and really seemed to care about us and our pets. All the staff here were amazing! Highly recommend!

Every single employee at VCA is amazing. They all care and love pets so much. Jeffery at the front desk is so kind, and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with all of the vets, who are wonderful and take the time to answer every question you have. This VCA hospital goes above and beyond to keep my doggos healthy, and I’m so thankful for them!

They are not judgmental and will work with you on what makes the most sense for your babies and your budget.

1 star based in this visit. We adopted a cat from outside. I called , scheduled an appointment and clearly explained he was picked up
Outdoors and that I had had another cat seen for a first free visit and asked if this cat Clark could also have first free check up . They said yes and proceeded to schedule the appt. I arrived and after taking us back they said he could not be seen without being given a $140 rabies shot…. I’m like why was I not told on the call? That’s too expensive he’ll be going to a clinic for that… she stepped out to double check , comes back in and says it’s ok for us to see him on this visit. Then she’s like it’s $140 for the visit….. I’m like $140 for what visit, today she says …… again I’m like why didn’t the person say that on the call . I clearly explained and ASKED of it was a free check up before scheduling visit.

Basically they WASTED my time !!!!!!

I love VCA MacArthur! The staff is so kind and professional. Check-in and checkout were smooth and no wait time. Both Dr. Frisch and the vet tech were very gentle with my cat and quickly put her at ease. They also make it super easy to book/cancel appointments and access pet medical records through their app. A bit pricy I will say, but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't want any other vet for my baby. Thank you VCA!

This is a truly amazing clinic. The vets and staff here truly care about your pet, are ALWAYS willing to help, and so communicative. They truly helped me and my fiancé so much in multiple situations. No better vet clinic in DC. All hail Dr. Frisch!

This VCA is amazing! Brought our new puppy in and were treated so well. Dr. Friesh is FABULOUS. Takes the time to explain and truly listens to your questions. Another plus is its in Georgetown. Pretty easy to get to from Arlington. Definitely recommend VCA MacArthur.😀❤👍

I had an A++ experience here. I adopted two kittens a couple days ago from Homeward Trails, and Homeward Trails referred me to this animal hospital. Booking an appointment was easy. I was checked in right away at the start of my appointment time, and I did not wait long in the examination room for the doctor. Everyone was so friendly and seemed happy to be working there. The vet tech and doctor were patient and gentle yet quick and efficient with my kitties. The doctor was very knowledgeable and gave me excellent personalized advice. They also sent me home with some goodies, including food and toys, to help get me started as a new pet owner. I highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone!
